    DEPARTING FROM - Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Robroyston & Westerton. Taking you to Oban.

    Following departure from your local station, we pass along the north banks of The Clyde, with views across to Inverclyde. At Craigendorran Junction we join the world famous West Highland Line, climbing up to Helensburgh to then pass above The Gare Loch and Loch Long - keep an eye out for a submarine near to Garelochhead! Next we will pass through Arrochar & Tarbet, before we catch a glimpse of the north end of Loch Lomond, and then on to Glen Falloch before arriving at Crianlarich. One of 2 main junctions on the West Highland Line, from Crianlarich we take a left and head towards Oban, we will pass through Tyndrum and Dalmally. We then travel along the northern end of Loch Awe - the third largest fresh water loch in Scotland - before passing through the Pass of Brander with it’s unique set of railway signals, known as Andersons Piano. At Taynuilt we meet Loch Etive which we follow until Connel Ferry, from here we descend into Oban with lovely views of Oban Bay - The Gateway to The Isles.

    Upon arrival in the charming fishing port of Oban, you will have ample time to stretch your legs, explore, and savour the local flavours that make this area so unique.

    Our return journey is the same as our outward journey, just in reverse.
