Join us for a relaxing short journey from Carlisle to Falkirk Grahamston aboard our comfortable MK1 coaches. Following the excitement of our Oban tour the previous day, this is quite simply the easiest and simplest way to get back home.
Our special train departs Carlisle at a relaxed, sociable time, with convenient drop-offs at Motherwell and Falkirk Grahamston. From Carlisle, we head north along the West Coast Main Line, giving passengers a thrilling run toward Motherwell, including the challenging climb up to Beattock Summit - a highlight for diesel enthusiasts, ensuring plenty of sound from the locomotive at the front.
At Motherwell, the train diverts right, passing through Mossend, Scotland’s biggest freight yard, before continuing through Cumbernauld and onward to Falkirk Grahamston, where our short trip concludes.
Falkirk Grahamston and Motherwell offer excellent onward connections, with regular ScotRail services to Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife and the north, allowing guests to continue their journeys home with ease.
